With Commissioner Gordon (David Selby) now forced into retirement, Ellen Yindel (Maria Canals Barrera) takes over the reigns as the head of the Gotham police force. Yindel, sick of Batman's vigilantism and humiliation of the authorities, hire's Superman (Mark Valley) to end Batman's one man crusade. To make matter's worse, The Joker (Michael Emerson) feigns regret for his past atrocities and successfully escapes Arkham Asylum and soon brings about a reign of terror the like's of which Gotham or the world as never seen before. Can Batman end The Joker's murderous campaign as well as coming to blows with Superman?
